We Went to the Zoo

Daddy and I went out on our first big day out just the two of us last week. It was a harrowing experience to start and to end, but the middle was a blast. Daddy made us rice balls, sausages, and baked sweet potato. We saw lots of animals: elephants, rhino, giraffes, and gorillas. I loved watching the animals eat. I do that too, you know.

I've been talking a lot more lately. This morning, when Daddy put my coat on for me, I said, "Thank you!" without being prompted. Daddy seemed really impressed. Talking is making it a lot easier to communicate with Mommy and Daddy. Oh, and I can kinda say "grandma". It comes out as "bam ma", but I'm getting there.
